Do you burn calories no matter how slow you walk? How many steps does it take to burn a calorie?
I’m asking about steps, not miles. I know that I can calculate it, but I don’t want to. 10 points to whoever can answer my question. Thanks.

This is what I heard from a fitness website:
On AVERAGE, a normal 135lb person needs 20 steps to burn a calorie.
If you are overweight in may take less, more like 15 steps.
If you are underweight it will take more, like 25 steps.
I saw this question a while ago but thought someone else might answer it. The answers you got don’t really answer your main question.
I guess, the slower you walk, the less energy you would be expending, but if you are looking at it in steps per calorie, you would need less steps if you were moving faster, to burn that same calorie.
