Is it healthy to burn every calorie you consumed that day?
what is the point of trying to burn all your calories when you can just consume less? Is it more healthy to have lots of calories and lots of exersice in one day? what is the difference really?

Does your body burn the normal calorie amount consumed everyday?
I hear that you have to burn more calories than you consume but I also hear that if you eat 1500 calories a day, everyday, then your body burns 1500 calories a day because thats what it needs to do. Is this correct? Does your body burn the amount of calories that you normally consume? If so, if you eat 1200-1500 calories a day, will it burn those calories naturally? Then any other activity you do to burn more calories will count towards weight loss and not burning the food that you’ve eaten?

Whats a good target heart rate for calorie burn?
I am thinking of getting a heart rate monitor tomorrow. What should my heart rate be in order to burn more calories. Isnt it the higher heart rate the more calories you burn?

Can you burn off food calorie for calorie by exercising?
If you indulge in a high-calorie snack, can the calories be burned off calorie for calorie? In other words, if you eat a chocolate cake worth 350 calories, can you counteract it by burning the same 350 calories doing specific exercise?
If not, how do you get rid of those 350 cals from the cake?

How many calories per day? How much calorie burn per workout?
I’m trying to find the key to my weight loss nightmare. I eat between 1,500 and 1,700 healthy calories per day. Swim three times per week (400+ calorie burn per session) and have aerobic workouts the other 3-4 days per week. Resistance exercise three days per week. I count myself very lucky to lose 1 pound per week. What’s the deal?
